This is Anthony's ninth year at Bedford Academy and fourth year as Vice-Principal. Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Saint Thomas University, and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of New Brunswick. After obtaining his degrees, he spent a year teaching at an international private school in Torreon, Mexico. This was a very positive experience in his life as it provided him with the opportunity to work, share and interact with people of different backgrounds and cultures. Anthony believes that teaching extends beyond the classroom walls and provides his students the opportunity to experience a 'hands on' approach to learning. Anthony's class mission is ...'Do Your Best.' He asks that every student put forth their best effort and believes in a classroom environment that fosters positive growth and development.
Anthony is very passionate about personal fitness and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. He brings this enthusiasm to the sports teams he coaches at Bedford Academy. These sports include our school hockey team; The Bedford Academy Ice, The Ski Team and our Bronco Running Club, which actively participates in the annual Bluenose Youth Run. Anthony also coaches the Bedford Academy Golf Team.
