Anthony Grant

Grade Two + Vice Principal

Mr. Grant graduated from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English and History.  He then completed his Education degree at the University of New Brunswick before embarking on his career as a teacher.  He joined the staff at Bedford Academy in September 2004 as the Grade Two homeroom teacher, a position he still holds.  In addition to his homeroom class, Mr. Grant teaches Grade 3 English and is the head hockey coach at the school.  Mr. Grant is also the school’s Vice Principal and oversees all aspects of the elementary program.  Mr. Grant’s passion is teaching and educating.  His primary goals are to both challenge and motivate his students and he believes that learning extends far beyond the classroom.  Mr. Grant applies a hands-on approach to teaching, allowing students to engage in learning opportunities in all areas of their lives.
