Congratulations to Class of 2013 Alumna Terra Lanteigne for being recognized as the College Hockey America Player of the Year. Terra is the starting goalie for the RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) Tigers NCAA Division 1 Women's hockey team and was also an All-CHA first team selection. She enjoyed an incredible season for the Tigers, leading all of Division I with a .944 save percentage and was second nationally with 1,137 saves to go along with a 12-16-5 overall mark and 2.03 goals against average, while appearing in all 34 games. She compiled a remarkable .947 save percentage in 20 CHA games. The third-year netminder has stopped 30 or more shots in a game 20 times this season and 40 or more 10 times. On Feb. 22, Lanteigne stopped a season-high 50 shots in a 3-0 shutout win over Penn State University. The 1,137 saves are a RIT single-season record and her 2,354 stops in three years is the most all-time at the university. Lanteigne is a two-time NCAA Hockey Second Star of the Week, four-time CHA Goaltender of the Month and eight-time Goaltender of the Week in 2018-19.
