First Graduating Class of Bedford Academy

The students from the first Grade Nine Graduating Class of Bedford Academy are now in their second year of post secondary education. Many of them completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma in High School and went on to receive impressive scholarships and bursaries at many institutions throughout Canada. Graduates Katie Sumarah, Mallory Baker and Olivia MacDonald all attend Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Meaghan Kells is currently enrolled in her second year of business at St. Francis Xavier University. After attending Wilfred Laurier University for a year, Adam Olsen decided to move closer to home and play football for the X-Men at St. F.X. Warren Kosick, Eillish Graham, Jamie Alexander, Helia Hollenhorst, Triston Berger, Laura Muise and Laken Brimicombe all attend university in the HRM. Warren at Mount St. Vincent, Eillish at St. Mary’s and Jamie, Helia, Triston, Laura and Laken all at Dalhousie. Sam Pappin is currently in his second year of Kinesiology studies at Memorial University in St. John’s, NL and Ryan Penny is pursuing his hockey career with the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL and completing university courses through Acadia and Dalhousie. Bedford Academy is very proud of the academic successes and achievements of its’ graduates, but we are most proud of the people they have become.
